AUTOMATION UK, 18-19 JUNE 2024, CBS ARENA, COVENTRY – STAND D30
Automation UK is returning to the CBS Arena in Coventry for its second year on the 18th and 19th of June. Founding exhibitor and leading robotics distributor RARUK Automation will be showcasing its latest automation solutions on stand D30. This year, RARUK Automation’s demos will include collaborative and mobile robots, as well as a flexible part feeding solution.
Having recently been named Universal Robots’ Global Distributor of the Year, there will be three Universal Robots collaborative robot arms on RARUK Automation’s stand.
There will be a palletising demonstration, showcasing Robotiq’s PE10 Palletising Solution designed specifically for Universal Robots. There are currently three palletising solutions in the Robotiq range; the standard PE10 and AX10 models, as well as the new PE20 designed for the larger UR20 robot.
Robotiq offers complete turnkey palletising solutions, which can be installed in a matter of days. The range is able to accommodate diverse payloads and pallet heights with ease and adaptability. The new PE20 model can handle payloads of up to 20kg (with end of arm tooling).
RARUK Automation will also be demonstrating a FlexiBowl and Universal Robots part picking application. FlexiBowl flexible feeders can sort bulk parts regardless of their shape, fragility, material composition, weight and surface characteristics. Parts are separated and orientated through shaking movements of a rotating plate actuated by a servomotor and a pulse generator.
Easy to integrate, FlexiBowl can be seamlessly paired with a Universal Robots cobot through its certified URCap. The solution’s vision system identifies parts on the surface of the FlexiBowl and communicates the location with the robot arm for picking.
As a partner of MiR and Enabled Robotics in the UK, RARUK Automation will also be showing the ER-FLEX mobile cobot. The ER-FLEX combines a MiR mobile robot base with a Universal Robots cobot arm. This creates an automated transportation robot with the flexibility of a robot arm. Popular applications for the ER-FLEX include machine tending, picking and packing, sample collection and transportation, as well as laboratory and warehouse automation.
