New Addition to the Automation Team
The automation, robotics and drive components specialist, RARUK Automation, is delighted to welcome Paul Keeling to its ranks as an automation technician. Paul is spending his placement year with the Hertfordshire company to gain valuable industry experience while studying for his BSc in Robotics at Reading University.
Robotics now form a significant part of the RARUK Automation business. Indeed the company’s participation in the recent PPMA Show has resulted in considerable interest in its Universal Robots for collaborative working. Paul Keeling programmed the stand demonstration and is now directly involved in the follow-up process, helping to conduct feasibility studies for potential customers.
“At University, our studies are mainly electrical and computing based. I therefore wanted much more hands-on experience,” Paul Keeling explained. “Working with RARUK Automation is great because I’m engaged with real-world applications and I’m gaining a much greater understanding of how robots can benefit modern manufacturing.”
