Although it’s less than five years since RARUK Automation introduced British manufacturing industry to MiR, it has become one of the company’s top brands. The MiR mobile robots for in-house material transport and logistics have significantly enhanced RARUK Automation’s ability to provide cost-effective and easy automation and proved highly popular across many sectors.
This success has been rewarded with confirmation that RARUK Automation has again been named a MiR Excellent Partner. For the second year running, the company substantially increased sales of MiR robots in the UK and demonstrated a level of customer support that went above and beyond expectation.
Indeed, the sales growth that RARUK Automation has achieved has been exceptional, not just in the UK, but also when assessed against global sales for MiR autonomous robots. The company has just learnt that it sold more MiR robots than any other distributor across the world in 2019.
Acknowledging the achievement Ross Lacy, Mobile Robot Product Manager for RARUK Automation said: “MiR is a great product with huge scope in the UK. It has certainly found favour with tier one automotive suppliers and we’ve also seen large growth in warehousing and logistics as well as traditional manufacturing. So, we now have our sights on making Excellent Partner a hat-trick!”
